What does your team focus on?

Dr Mark HassedOver the past 6 years I've been fortunate to have worked as a locum dentist in a lot of offices. Some were easy and highly productive and some were difficult and frustratingly unproductive. Why the difference? In a word the answer is "focus".Teams that focus on tasks and procedures and treat the dentist like a cog in the machine are frustrating and unproductive to work with. The dentist is constantly hitting road blocks and chasing after team members to ask for things.Teams that focus on the dentist and assisting him or her are a pleasure to work with and make you highly productive. The team watch you and give constant support. What does your team focus on? If you're feeling tired and beaten up at the end of the day I can tell you for sure that your team are focussing on tasks and procedures.
