Save time. Make your life easier.

Dr Mark HassedMany dentists use air turbine handpieces for preparing teeth. I'm going to suggest a better way.My strong recommendation is to use a red-band speed increasing handpiece attached to an electric motor. The torque that you get out of this setup is fantastic. With an air turbine you go through endless cycles of cutting and then backing off to let the revs come back up. With a red-band and an electric motor you simply cut. The feeling of freedom is magnificent.Add to this the fact that it is quieter than an air turbine and it's an easy choice.Do we even need air turbines in practice any more? My answer is an emphatic "no". Get rid of them entirely and you will save time and make your life easier.
